I was once told that by another patient's father because of the reckless actions his son took to seek fulfillment. Such advice wouldn't have usually left a mark on me but his tears of worry paired with the double-handed grip he took of my hand left quite the impression on me. His father's worry hit home because I also greatly worried my own father with very risky events and figured he must have felt the same for me. That brief meeting in the hallway of a ward left a bigger impact on me than most events in my life.
I went to several different European countries for my highschool graduation trip. The Netherlands's public infrastructure seemed fantastic to me. France's architecture was beautiful but since it was plagued by other tourists my experience was dampened by having to wait in lines for nearly everything. Switzerland's nature was mesmerizing and every other house seemed to be a homestead with pastures hosting cattle, sheep, chickens and horses which made everything seem harmonious and peaceful. Italy had sweltering heat that peaked around 35-40c so I got sunburnt a few times but its churches and museums were grand buildings usually covered with artistic masterpieces lining the ceilings and walls.
